Walt Disney World 2027 Packages Are Officially Available: What To Do Next

Friend, today is the day I’ve been prepping for all year — Disney World 2027 packages are officially live, and I am READY.

If you’ve been waiting for this moment, your wait is over. Walt Disney World 2027 vacation packages dropped today, and release day is exactly as important as I’ve been telling you it is.

Whether you’ve been on my waitlist for weeks, just stumbled across this post, or already clicked “confirm” on Disney’s website this morning before you fully thought it through (no judgment — the excitement is REAL), I want to walk you through exactly what today means and what your next step should be.

Because this isn’t just any day. Disney World 2027 release day matters — and I’m going to tell you exactly why.

Disney World 2027 Packages: Why Timing Matters If You Haven’t Booked Yet

Let me give you the honest, no-fluff version of how Disney pricing works.

The day Disney releases packages for a new travel year is historically when availability is at its strongest and base pricing is at its lowest. Period.

Disney uses dynamic pricing, which means the more rooms and ticket packages fill up, the higher the prices climb. And at some point this year, whether it’s June or September or October, Disney will raise ticket prices, room rates, dining plan costs, or all three. When you book today, you lock in today’s base rate. Future price increases don’t touch you. If you want the full breakdown on why planning early is so important, I covered it in depth in my earlier blog here.

Here’s the part that surprises a lot of families: it only takes a $200 deposit per reservation to secure your resort and dates. The remaining balance isn’t due until 30 days before you arrive. So you’re not paying for the whole trip today…you’re just holding your spot at the best possible price while your family figures out the rest.

One of my favorite release-day stories is about a family I worked with who had their hearts set on staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for their first Walt Disney World trip. They’d been eyeing it for months — a quick ride on the monorail to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, the Volcano pool, and watching the fireworks from the resort’s beach. We locked in their reservation within hours of packages dropping last year. They got exactly what they wanted, at the best possible rate, because they moved on release day. That’s the power of not waiting.

Secure Your Investment — Even After You Book

Here’s something most people don’t know about how Disney promotions work — and it’s one of my favorite things to tell new clients.

Disney historically releases promotional discounts after their annual price increases. Which means those promotions are almost always applied to the newer, higher rate, not the base pricing from release day. If you waited to book until a promotion came out, you might actually be paying more than someone who booked on release day with no promo.

But here’s where working with me makes a real difference: once you’re booked, I continuously monitor your reservation. If a promotion is released that applies to your dates and resort category, I will automatically handle the adjustment. You don’t have to watch Disney’s social media, set alerts, or call anyone. I just take care of it and send you a happy little email letting you know you saved money. 🌙

One of the most fun emails I get to send is the “guess what” email. I had a family booked for a week at Walt Disney World—they’d planned everything, they were excited, and life was good. A few months after booking, Disney released a promotion that applied to their exact dates and resort. I made the adjustment, recalculated their remaining balance, and sent them a quick text: “Guess what — you just saved $$.” That family came back and booked with me again the following year. That’s the difference between booking on your own and having someone in your corner.

Already Booked Directly With Disney? Here’s What You Can Do

First, I get it completely. Release-day energy is contagious, and sometimes the excitement wins out before the planning brain kicks in. You are not alone.

But now that you’ve booked, you might be realizing there are a LOT of moving pieces. Dining reservations open 60 days out. Lightning Lane strategy is its own universe. Special experiences, park order, which days to rope drop…it adds up fast. Not sure where to even start? I broke down exactly how to choose your dates, pick your resort, and build your game plan right here. (Insert Blog 2 URL)

I had a client reach out to me a few days after booking a Disney trip on her own. She’d gotten caught up in the excitement, confirmed her reservation, and then immediately opened her email to find 47 tabs about dining reservations and park strategy. She was overwhelmed before the trip had even started. We were able to transfer her reservation to my care—she benefited from my support for the rest of the planning process, I monitored her reservation for any discounts, and she later told me it was the best decision she made for that trip.

Here are the three ways I can still support you:

Option 1: Transfer Your Reservation

If you booked directly with Disney within the last 30 days and haven’t paid in full, your reservation may be eligible to transfer to my care at no additional cost to you. Once your reservation is transferred, I manage your reservation, monitor for discounts, and guide you through every planning detail. Fill out my transfer form here:

Option 2: Rebook Strategically

If your current reservation is more than 30 days old, I can evaluate whether rebooking makes sense for your specific situation. Sometimes we can replicate your reservation at similar pricing and move it under my management. Just reply with your confirmation email, and I’ll take a look at your options.

Option 3: Add Planning Support

If you’d like to keep your existing reservation exactly as is but still want expert guidance on the planning side…dining reservations, itinerary building, park strategy…I offer planning packages for exactly that. Just schedule a complimentary call to talk about the details.

Why Booking Early Changes the Entire Experience

I’ve planned a lot of Disney trips. And I can tell you with absolute certainty: the families who feel the most relaxed and joyful on their vacation are the ones who planned early.

They’re not scrambling. They’re not stressed about dining reservations or worried they missed something. They show up to Magic Kingdom on day one with a plan, a sense of excitement, and the confidence that someone’s been watching out for them the whole time.

That’s what I want for your family. And today is the day to make that happen.
